Moon Festival - Its Not Really a Holiday
In China they don’t really have holidays. Oh sure, they celebrate Moon Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, etc., and they celebrate them by not working on those days, but they are not holidays. Leading up to Moon Festival (Wed. - Fri.) the whole country goes to work and to school on Sunday of the weekend before. They also go to school and work the Saturday after. THAT IS NOT A HOLIDAY, IT IS SIMPLY A SHUFFLING OF WEEKENDS! I can just imagine our government trying to tell Americans that they have to go to work and school on Sunday. This is a straaaaange place.
