8/1 Flood Update
Tazz says that volunteers are still coming in droves, which is good to hear. The school is gross with smells and mold... of all colors. Cleaning out today was a slimy yucky mess. At least the sun was shining though.
They took out clothes and bedding in the loads and put it on the trash heap... Shoes, winter clothes, books, all the locker stuff... what didn't get wet is contaminated with smells. You have to understand that the chinese culture wastes little and doesn't throw things away, so to see the volume of stuff they are throwing away tells me that it must be really bad.
Furniture is growing colors. The leadership is seriously considering moving to another facility. The kids will return at the end of August and start school the first of September and it seems like getting this facility ready in 3 weeks is an impossibility. You prayers for that search would be greatly appreciated.
