Unexpected Trip Home

The news about Tyson was not looking good as of Sunday night so we booked flights home for Monday evening. Actually we changed the front end of our flight which was already booked for December 15th to come home for Tyler's (Chyloe's brother) wedding. The blessing there was the the Air Canada rep. we talked to waived the change fee without me even asking (it should have been about $2,200). We go to DC on Tuesday morning and stayed the night since Tyson had an MRI scheduled for Wednesday morning. What the MRI showed was about what we were expecting. The tumor is spreading at a fairly rapid rate. Tyson is sleeping much of the day now and is being given morphine for comfort.

Chyloe and the boys will stay here until the wedding in December and our previously scheduled trip home (Dec. 15th - Feb. 15th) will remain unchanged. My plans are still up in the air but I have to return to China at some point so I can pack up our apartment and get everything moved out and tie up a bunch of loose ends.
