Kids Being Kids

Today we had a much deserved day off. The morning was spent doing homework so the afternoon was free for the kids to play. The house we are staying at is located in a small community of houses built on an airstrip. There is 1/4 mile driveway and a couple of ponds around. The kids played as well and as hard as I have ever seen kids play. Pant legs were rolled up and were still wet. Band aids were used on multiple occasions. Not paper cut type band aids, but big band aids which usually mean that bikes and asphalt were involved. The kind of band aids that mean kids were doing what they are supposed to do.
