A Photo Negative
For the past two years this blog has been a narrative of a western family’s life in Beijing, China. Cultural nuances that we either we weren’t expecting or are just plain humorous have fascinated us to the point that we had to start a blog to share our wild adventures with the world. I hope you have been entertained by our scorpion eating escapades, funny Chinese signage, culture shock, and the wonders of Asia. For the next 6 weeks we are going to look at the negative of the photo. Its sort of like we are now transitioning to the 2nd half of Crocodile Dundee.
We will be taking 9 Chinese orphans on a dancing tour through five states in the eastern United States. You will hear stories of their culture shock, of their eating escapades, and their discovery of the wonders of North America. We consider it a joy to be a part of this experience. We still have the pleasure of working with Chinese orphans but we also have the joys of watching Sportscenter, eating Chik-fil-a, and experiencing the beauty of an American spring.

Sounds Awesome... I look forward to hearing of their adventures!
