Food for 200
On Friday we hosted our annual International Friends Thanksgiving Feast. Here is the breakdown by the numbers:
200 - Number of people fed (not counting the leftover plates that were sent home for wives, roommates, etc.)
25 - Pies (pumpkin, pecan, apple)
50 - volunteers (table hosts, cooks, clean up crew)
13 - Number of turkeys!
It was one of those events that we look back on and are astonished by the fact that we pulled it off and that it went so well.
A special thanks to University Presbyterian Church for providing the facilities, Calvary Chapel of Chapel Hill for providing the food, and LifeCity RDU for providing the dessert.
